1. Dr. Battle will examine your current smile!
When you first visit one of our orthodontist offices, Dr. Battle will become your personal, digital orthodontist. You’ll meet Dr. Battle and get to know a little bit about each other!
Dr. Battle will perform a visual exam of your smile and we’ll take some digital x-rays, impressions and photos to gain the full picture of your teeth, gums and jaw bones.
For digital impressions, we use the advanced Trios® digital scanner to take accurate and precise digital impressions of your mouth, without the discomfort and messiness of traditional putty impressions.
Your orthodontist will use all of this information, from your visual exam, digital x-rays and impressions, to create your personalized treatment plan!
2. You’ll choose a treatment!
At your first orthodontic appointment, we’ll help you explore your treatment options so you can choose the best one for you. Dr. Battle will suggest a treatment option based on your personality! At Premiere Orthodontics, we know that different treatment options suit different personalities, so we’re here to help match you with the perfect one.
The best treatment option for you will depend on your preferences and lifestyle. Dr. Battle has the experience necessary to treat you with your preferred treatment option. We offer a unique Triple Orthodontics approach that includes braces in front (traditional braces), braces in the back (lingual behind-the-teeth braces), or braces on the top (clear aligners).
3. We’ll create a payment plan that suits your needs.
We’ll talk finances too. With our Triple Orthodontics approach, all types of braces (braces in the front, back or top) cost the same – with no down payment or low monthly payments. We want your preferences to be the deciding factor in your treatment.
We’ll present our financial options, discuss our in-house financing plans and match you with any discount opportunities. From first-responder discounts to military personnel discounts, discounts for multiple family members, college students, brides-to-be, theme park employees and more, we offer a wide range of discounts.
We’ll also calculate your dental insurance benefit if you have insurance! We accept all PPO insurance plans, HMO and DeltaCare. We also accept Medicaid with a 20% discount. Our team will submit your insurance claims for you so you can receive the maximum benefit.

4. You begin treatment!
You can begin treatment on your very first visit. Why wait any longer to get started? Dr. Battle offers Same Day Treatment Starts, so you can complete your orthodontic exam and get your braces (or Invisalign scans taken) – all in the same appointment.
Once your treatment plan and financing are squared away, our team will start building your digital smile file using our comfortable digital impression system. We do this for every patient – whether they choose braces or aligners, so you can get a truly custom treatment. No one size fits all here!
This entire appointment process takes about 45 minutes to an hour. If you choose same day braces, it only takes 30 minutes for us to place your braces or complete your scans!
