The average case will take anywhere from 12 to 18 months to complete. To experience the most effective and efficient treatment period, you must wear your orthodontic aligners as instructed. You will keep your aligners in place for at least 20 to 22 hours a day. (If you don’t wear your aligners as frequently as your orthodontist instructs, your treatment period will be longer.)

Using TRIOS scanning technology, our orthodontists will make quick, precise 3-D impressions of your child’s teeth to begin the clear aligner process. These impressions will be used to create their custom treatment plan and clear aligner sets.
You’ll receive a set of custom aligners: one for your top teeth and one for your bottom teeth. Every 1 to 2 weeks, your teen will switch out his or her current set of aligners to wear a new set, and every 10 to 12 weeks, you’ll visit our office to receive new sets of aligners.
Each set of clear aligners is custom-made to shift teeth closer to the ideal alignment. Your teen will wear aligners for at least 20 to 22 hours a day.

Because we are a fully digital practice, scans are taken with the TRIOS scanner and many progress checks happen through DentalMonitoring on your teen’s phone. That means fewer early pickups from school. Our orthodontic technology is a big part of how we keep visits short.
When treatment ends, the retainer becomes the most important piece. Teens are busy, and retainers sometimes get skipped. If teeth shift after full treatment, our Lifetime Guarantee means you will not pay for complete treatment again, only a small monthly adjustment charge and a new retainer. Yes. Before a game or practice, your teen takes the aligners out, rinses them and puts them in their case, then wears a properly fitted sports mouthguard. Afterward, the aligners go right back in so wear time stays on target.
