Can I Use a Payment Plan for Braces or Invisalign?

May 30, 2025

Yes, you can pay for braces or Invisalign® monthly. At Premiere Orthodontics, you can choose a 0% interest, in-house payment plan with no hidden fees and low or no down payment. We also accept outside financing through CareCredit or LendingPoint. Your insurance benefit and FSA or HSA funds come off the total first, so your monthly payment only covers what is left.

Below is how each option works at our Waterford Lakes (Orlando) and Winter Springs/Oviedo offices, how they compare, and how to set up your plan.

Can I Get a Payment Plan for Braces or Invisalign?

Yes. You don’t have to pay in full for orthodontics here. We offer flexible financing for braces and for clear aligners, including Invisalign® and 3M™ Clarity™ aligners.

How Does the 0% Interest In-House Payment Plan Work?

Our in-house plan spreads your treatment cost over monthly payments with 0% interest and no hidden fees. You make your payments to our office, not to a bank or lender.

At your first visit, Dr. Battle examines your smile and creates your treatment plan. Then a member of our team works out a custom financial plan with you. You can choose no down payment or low monthly payments, whichever works best for your budget.

Do I Need a Down Payment for Braces or Invisalign?

No. Our payment plans come with low monthly payments and low or no down payment. If you would rather keep your monthly payment lower, you can put more down at the start. If you would rather start with nothing down, you can do that instead.

Which Outside Financing Companies Do You Accept?

We accept outside financing through CareCredit and LendingPoint. With outside financing, you apply with the lender and repay the lender directly. The lender sets its own approval process, rates and terms, so check those with CareCredit or LendingPoint before you apply.

If you prefer 0% interest, choose our in-house plan instead. You can compare both side by side in the table below.

How Do the Payment Options Compare?

Does Insurance Cover Braces or Invisalign?

Often, yes, and it can cover more than you might expect. We’re proud to accept all PPO and HMO insurances, including DeltaCare, and we offer a Medicaid discount. Our treatment coordinator submits your insurance claims and handles all of the paperwork.

On average, insurance plans typically cover anywhere from 25 to 50% of the total cost. We calculate your benefit, apply it to your treatment cost, and set up a payment plan for the rest. If you want to know what your insurance might cover before your first visit, reach out to us and we’ll help.

Can I Use My FSA or HSA for Braces or Invisalign?

Yes. Braces and clear aligners are eligible FSA/HSA expenses. You can combine your Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account funds with your insurance coverage, then put the remaining balance on a 0% interest plan. A tax refund works the same way if you want to put it toward treatment.

FSA dollars come with a use-by deadline, so read our FSA deadline guide for braces and clear aligners before you schedule.

Do Braces and Invisalign Cost the Same?

Yes. We offer all types of braces and clear aligners at the same price, so cost doesn’t have to decide your treatment. Your total depends on your individual needs: the severity of your condition, the length of your treatment plan and your orthodontic insurance coverage.

Your monthly payment depends on your down payment, your insurance coverage and the length of your payment plan. Our cost of braces page explains these factors in more detail.

What Discounts Can Lower My Cost?

Ask us about our treatment discounts:

  • Pay-in-full discount for patients who pay for braces or clear aligner treatment in full.
  • Military discount for our active duty heroes and their families.
  • First responder discount.
  • Student discount for college students at UCF, Valencia College, Rollins or another nearby school.
  • Family discount for family members of our patients.

We’ll match you with every discount you qualify for when we build your plan.

What Does My Treatment Cost Include?

Your payment plan covers more than braces or clear aligners. Every patient who completes full treatment with us gets our Lifetime Guarantee. If your teeth shift later because you stopped wearing your retainer, Dr. Battle will replace your braces. Your only financial responsibilities would be a nominal monthly charge for adjustments, and the cost of a new retainer.

All of our patients also get free professional teeth whitening for life after treatment.

How Do I Set Up a Payment Plan?

  1. Book a complimentary consultation. Fill out our appointment request form and our team will reach out to find a time at our Waterford Lakes or Winter Springs/Oviedo office.
  2. Get your exam and cost estimate. Dr. Battle, our Board-Certified Orthodontist, examines your smile, and we take an iTero® Element digital scan and digital x-rays to determine your treatment and its cost.
  3. Apply your benefits. We calculate your insurance benefit, apply any HSA/FSA funds, and figure out your remaining treatment cost.
  4. Choose your plan. Pick our 0% interest in-house plan with no down payment or low monthly payments, outside financing with CareCredit or LendingPoint, or pay in full with a discount.

You can see all of your options on our financing and insurance page.

Payment Plan FAQs

Do orthodontists do payment plans?

Yes. At Premiere Orthodontics, every patient can choose a 0% interest, in-house payment plan for braces or clear aligners, or outside financing through CareCredit or LendingPoint. We build the plan with you at your first visit.

Are payment plans easier to get for Invisalign or braces?

Neither. We offer all types of braces and clear aligners at the same price, and the same in-house payment plan works for either one. You can pick your treatment for how it fits your life, not for how it fits a financing rule.

Is there interest on your in-house payment plan?

No. Our in-house plan has 0% interest and no hidden fees.

Can I get a payment plan without insurance?

Yes. We set up payment plans for braces and Invisalign whether or not you have insurance. Without insurance, the plan simply covers the full treatment cost instead of the balance left after your benefit.

How much is Invisalign with insurance?

It depends on your treatment cost and on what your plan covers. On average, insurance plans typically cover anywhere from 25 to 50% of the total cost. We verify your benefits, file the paperwork, and put the remaining balance on a 0% interest plan. See our cost of Invisalign and clear aligners page for more.

Can I combine insurance, my FSA or HSA, and a payment plan?

Yes. We apply your insurance benefit first, then any FSA or HSA funds, and the remaining balance goes on a 0% interest payment plan.

Do you offer a discount if I pay in full?

Yes. If you pay in full for braces or clear aligner treatment, we extend a pay-in-full discount. Ask about it at your consultation.
